Hewlett Packard (HP) recently unveiled its partnership with Ferrari, marking a significant development in the realm of Formula One racing. This collaboration will see HP join forces with Ferrari as its new title partner, resulting in the rebranding of the official team name to Scuderia Ferrari HP in a multi-year agreement.

Under this arrangement, the iconic blue logo of the American technology giant will adorn Ferrari’s F1 livery starting from the upcoming Miami Grand Prix. Additionally, the HP branding will be prominently featured on the team’s kit, overalls, and extend to Ferrari’s F1 Academy and Esports programs.

Speaking about the partnership, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna emphasized the shared values and commitment to progress that unite both companies. He highlighted the legacy of innovation and dedication to a sustainable future that defines Ferrari’s ethos, expressing confidence in HP as an ideal partner to embark on this journey together.

Echoing Vigna’s sentiments, HP CEO Enrique Lores underscored the synergy between the two brands, rooted in technology, performance, and craftsmanship. Lores emphasized the opportunity to leverage the global platform of racing to accelerate sustainable innovation and drive business growth.

Beyond branding, HP will provide Ferrari with a range of services, including computers, printers, and other hardware, along with conferencing technology. This collaboration signifies a strategic alignment between the two companies, leveraging their respective strengths to create lasting impact for clients and communities worldwide.

It’s worth noting that while HP already has a presence in Formula One through its partnership with Mercedes, the collaboration with Ferrari marks a significant milestone. Unlike HP’s partnership with Mercedes, which involves Hewlett Packard Enterprise focusing on cloud and networking solutions, the collaboration with Ferrari encompasses consumer-oriented HP, highlighting the diversity and versatility of the HP brand.

In a separate announcement, Ferrari revealed plans to incorporate blue into a one-off livery for the Miami Grand Prix, commemorating the marque’s 70th anniversary in the American marketplace. The addition of two distinct shades of blue, known as Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino, will pay homage to Ferrari’s storied history while embracing innovation and forward-thinking design.

As Ferrari and HP embark on this exciting journey together, they aim to harness the power of technology, innovation, and sustainability to drive success both on and off the track. With a shared commitment to excellence and a passion for pushing boundaries, the partnership between Ferrari and HP promises to redefine the future of Formula One racing.
