Sourav Ganguly Discusses His Future Plans After Resigning As BCCI President

Sourav Ganguly, the former BCCI president, said that he would return as the director of ATK Mohun Bagan and said that he has many fond memories of his time as an ISL player for the team. Notably, Roger Binny, a former World Cup-winning all-rounder, was overwhelmingly voted as the board president on October 18, ending Ganguly’s term as BCCI president.
In October 2021, Ganguly resigned from the board of directors of ATK-Mohun Bagan, an ISL team owned by Sanjiv Goenka. Ganguly joined Atletico-Kolkata in 2014, at the start of the Indian Super League. The club changed its name to ATK before joining forces with Mohun Bagan. Sourav continued by saying that he would also be attending the ISL’s Kolkata Football Derby game on October 29, 2022.
