On May 10, the Indian Air Force (IAF) executed synchronized precision strikes on a minimum of eight Pakistani military installations, with satellite images verifying substantial destruction to infrastructure and ground resources. These comprised radar facilities, command and control hubs, and munitions depots located in Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Chunian, Pasrur, and Sialkot. According to open-source analysts, the assaults were executed with sophisticated air-launched cruise missiles (ALCMs), probably the BrahMos.
Kawa Space, a satellite intelligence firm located in Bengaluru, released an image assessing damage from a bomb at a PAF (Pakistan Air Force) facility in Bholari, Jacocabad, and Mushaf in Pakistan, illustrating the effects of a precise strike. The high-resolution imagery reveals a direct impact on a hangar at Bholari Air Base of the Pakistan Air Force. Visible debris and structural damage indicated that the strike’s closeness to the runway implied the targeted hangar might have had a quick reaction alert function.
At Shahbaz Airbase in Jacobabad, another targeted attack struck a hangar on the primary apron. KawaSpace images also indicate potential additional damage to the air traffic control (ATC) facility at the location. Sargodha Air Base experienced impacts at two spots, with recent images revealing debris at both the center of the runway and its crossroad.
Images from the Chinese satellite company, MizazVision, verify that Pakistan’s Nur Khan Airbase was also struck. The Indian Air Force strike reportedly aimed at neutralizing ground support vehicles and essential infrastructure at the location.
Satellite imagery verifies India’s attack on Pakistan’s Nur Khan Airbase, an important military site located only 10 km from Islamabad, which encircles the Islamabad International Airport. Previously referred to as PAF Station Chaklala, this base facilitates military missions, VIP transfers, aerial refueling, and hosts several transport squadrons as well as PAF College Chaklala, which educates future air force officers.
