Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a strong appeal to citizens to prioritise ‘Made in India’ products, especially during major festivals like Holi, Diwali, and Ganesh Puja. Emphasising the importance of supporting local artisans and manufacturers, PM Modi highlighted that choosing Indian-made goods not only strengthens the nation’s economy but also empowers small businesses and local industries.

Addressing the nation, he urged people to be conscious consumers and take pride in products made within the country. “When we buy local, we support the dreams of countless Indian families,” he said, calling it a patriotic act that directly contributes to the nation’s self-reliance.

Festivals, which are times of high consumer spending, present a powerful opportunity to boost domestic production and reduce dependence on imports. PM Modi’s call aligns with the broader ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) initiatives, aimed at fostering economic independence and national pride.

The Prime Minister encouraged citizens to make this commitment a habit, not just a seasonal practice. By consciously choosing ‘Made in India’ products, especially during festive seasons, people can collectively play a significant role in building a stronger, self-sustaining India.
