INA@Rash Behari Bose

ASI is responsible for organizing the INA celebration in the Red Fort on 21st Oct every year. Unfortunately, the Father INA, Biplabi Mahanayak Rash Behari Bose is never mentioned. It is not only a gross under representation of history but a denial of Rash Behari Bose’s contribution. This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the formation of the INA.Please acknowledge Biplabi Mahanayak Rash Behari Bose on the INA Day this year.

Today on 1st Spt, 80 years ago the Indian National Army , the military unit of the Indian Independence League, was formally established.
It was the fulfillment of Biplabi Mahanayak Rash Behari Bose’s life long dream to turn the British Army against the British and pay them back in their own coin. A dream that little Rasu nurtured since he was 7. May it be the young lad’s attempts to gain access to Ft.William, the British bastion or the ace Ghadar leader rekindling the flame of revolt across 26 Cantonments in 1915 during World War I with Lahore as his head quarter. The first attempt of military uprising in the British Indian Army since 1857.The exceptional visionary and strategist who motivated, mobilized and organized an large scale international movement in Japan and the Far East that led to the establishment of the Indian Independence League and Pan Asian League .” Vishwas, Ekta,Balidan” was the motto.” India for Indians” he declared! He whipped up emotions with his call ” the time has come”. During World War II he was prepared to rise to the occasion. When mainstream leadership in India did not respond to his call to boycott and paralyse the British and the British Indian Army marched in defence of British imperial interests . this great strategist turned the British Indian Army into the Indian National Army .
As the military unit of the I.I.L. the earstwhile British Indian Army fighting for the British now fought against the British to free India as the Indian National Army.
