In Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle, 42 Delhi Government Officers Transferred

Numerous senior officials of the Delhi government, comprising two additional chief secretaries and a principal secretary, were reassigned to different states and Union Territories in a significant reshuffle of the AGMUT cadre by the home ministry on Friday.
Ashish Chandra Verma, an IAS officer from the 1994 batch of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre, currently serving as the additional chief secretary for the Finance and Revenue departments in the Delhi government, has been reassigned to Jammu and Kashmir.
Anil Kumar Singh, the additional chief secretary for Environment and Forest, was also reassigned to Jammu and Kashmir, whereas Sudhir Kumar, the Principal Secretary of the Vigilance Department, was moved to Mizoram. Singh belongs to the 1995 batch, while Kumar is from the 1999 batch.
Special secretary of Home, K M Uppu from the 2009 batch, and special secretary of Transport Sachin Shinde, an officer from the 2008 batch, were reassigned to Puducherry and Andaman and Nicobar, respectively. Additionally, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, a 2005 batch officer who held the position of divisional commissioner in Kashmir, was moved to Delhi, while Dilraj Kaur, a 2000 batch officer, will return to the national capital, where she previously worked in different roles, following her transfer from Andaman and Nicobar.
Other IAS officers from the AGMUT cadre transferred from Delhi consisted of Chanchal Yadav and Vinod Kavle, both from the 2008 batch, along with Navin S L, who is from the 2012 batch. The reshuffle prompted the Delhi government to perform interdepartmental transfers and postings for 42 senior officers from the AGMUT and DANICS cadres.
In the meantime, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, an officer from the 2005 batch who held the position of divisional commissioner in Kashmir, has been moved to Delhi, whereas Dilraj Kaur, an officer from the 2000 batch, is set to come back to the national capital, where she previously worked in multiple roles, following her transfer from Andaman and Nicobar.
Other IAS officers from the AGMUT cadre transitioned from Delhi, such as Chanchal Yadav and Vinod Kavle, both from the 2008 batch, along with Navin S L, who belongs to the 2012 batch. The Delhi government, following the reshuffle, executed interdepartmental transfers and appointments for 42 senior officers from the AGMUT and DANICS cadres.
Bipul Pathak, an officer from the 1992 batch, responsible for the role of additional chief secretary (ACS) Industries, was assigned the extra responsibility of ACS Environment and Forest. Prashant Goyal, an officer from the 1993 batch and previously the ACS-cum-commissioner of Transport, will now serve as the additional chief secretary of Urban Development, according to an order from the Services Department.
Navin Kumar Chaudhary, an officer from the 1994 batch, previously serving as the ACS for Irrigation and Flood Control and General Administration departments, will take over as the new ACS for the Public Works Department. Ambarasu, a member of the 1996 batch and currently the principal secretary of Home, will assume the role of principal secretary of Services.
Nikhil Kumar from the 2002 batch will assume the role of new health secretary and also take on the additional responsibility of IT secretary, while Neeraj Semwal from the 2003 batch, currently awaiting assignment, will serve as secretary revenue-cum-divisional commissioner.
As per the order, Niharika Rai, an officer from the 2008 batch who previously served as the finance secretary, will now take on the role of secretary-cum-commissioner of Transport. Meanwhile, Ravi Jha, a special secretary to the chief minister from the 2011 batch, is set to become the excise commissioner for the Delhi government.
