IHAR organised Annual Conference with focus on multi-faceted rich cultural heritage of Bengal

IHAR (Indian History Awareness & Research) Annual Conference was organised on 23rd February 2025 at National Library in Kolkata with focus on deliberations on multi-faceted rich cultural heritage of Bengal spaning over thousands of years.
The Asiatic Society ‘s Administrator Lt. Col. Anant Sinha was Chief Guest while Dr. Tinku Acharya Founder & Managing Director Videonetics Technology Pvt Ltd was Guest of Honour. Conference was attended by large no. heritage enthusiasts including IHAR Director Surya Sarathi Roy , G M Kapur Head of INTACH West Bengal Chapter , Anil Dhir Heritage Conservationist ,

Conference had 5 panel discussions on various topics related to intangible & tangible Heritage of Bengal including religions , art & culture, literature , dialects, education systems , sports (wrestling), trade, ship building & others.
Conference opened doors of cooperation & collaboration to do research on as well as preservation of various aspects of rich & evolving heritage of Bengal region . Conference created awareness about rich Hindu cultural heritage in Bengal region for over thousands of years.
By raising awareness among youths and school children & others about their rich cultural heritage the conference fostered a sense of pride in their roots.
