Deepika Padukone joins Allu Arjun for Atlee’s sci-fi action film AA22xA6

Deepika Padukone has formally joined forces with actor Allu Arjun for director Atlee’s eagerly awaited movie, presently named ‘AA22xA6’. Today, June 7, the announcement was made, confirming Padukone as the leading lady alongside the ‘Pushpa’ actor.

The production company funding the project, Sun Pictures, unveiled the video showing Padukone and Atlee talking about the script, before the actor smoothly shifted into full preparation mode, donning intricate headgear and arriving on set in complete costume, prepared for battle.

The video marked her grand welcome into what promises to be a cinematic spectacle. Sharing the announcement, the production house wrote, “The Queen marches to conquer! Welcome onboard @deepikapadukone #TheFacesOfAA22xA6 (sic)”

The upcoming film will mark Padukone’s second collaboration with Atlee after ‘Jawan’ and her first with Allu Arjun.

Speaking about the collaboration, Atlee shared, “Collaborating with Deepika Padukone mam on ‘Jawan’ was incredible – her range, power, and grace shine in every frame. She drives the story. Previously, the banner hinted at the film with a captivating poster featuring a hand holding a futuristic sword and the tagline “Kalanithi Maran Presents.” Shooting is set to commence later this year, with additional information regarding the cast, crew, and release date to be announced shortly.
