Aamir Khan unveils Sitaare Zameen Par first look, leaves netizens divided: ‘Mediocre poster doesn’t mean…’

Aamir Khan’s 2007 film Taare Zameen Par marked a significant point in both his career and the annals of Indian cinema. Featuring Darsheel Safary and Tisca Chopra, the movie highlighted issues related to dyslexia, autism, and mental health disorders. It was a touching film experience that audiences were confident they would experience again when the sequel to Taare Zameen Par hit theaters next month. Today, Aamir provided us with a glimpse of the same by unveiling the first poster of Sitaare Zameen Par, reminding everyone that each child is unique in their own manner.

In this instance, Genelia Deshmukh will be teaming up with Aamir Khan in Sitaare Zameen Par, featuring Darsheel Safary who is back by Aamir’s side yet again. Nevertheless, the poster exclusively features Aamir alongside his 10 newcomer co-stars: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Vedant Sharma, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, Ayush Bhansali, Samvit Desai, and Simran Mangeshkar. At the top, there’s a close-up of Aamir, who is set to portray a coach. Below is an image of Aamir with his head propped on his hand, his elbow resting on a basketball, while his team stands behind him.

This poster has given some fans a rush of nostalgia. Gushing over the upcoming film, one social media user shared, “Finally a good film loading from Bollywood 🤞,” whereas another wrote, “Aamir Khan never fails to bring meaningful stories. One such netizen stated, “could have done it without his enlarged face giving nothing. the lower portion alone couldve been a much better poster,” whereas another wrote, “Arre re.
