The initial multi-party delegation out of the seven, set to visit international capitals to express India’s stance, will depart today for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The group, headed by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde, will additionally travel to Congo, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. The additional participants in this delegation include Bharatiya Janata Party MPs Bansuri Swaraj, Manan Kumar Mishra, SS Ahluwalia, BJD MP Sasmit Patra, IUML MP ET Mohammed Basheer, and Ambassador Sujan Chinoy.

In the following four days, up until May 25, up to seven delegations will travel to different nations to engage with audiences, decision-makers, and elected officials. The roster features MPs from various parties, organized into seven groups of 8-9 members each. A leader has been designated for each group to head the delegation at the global scale. Among the 51 political leaders, 31 belong to the ruling National Democratic Alliance, and the other 20 come from non-NDA parties.

The delegation’s members possess a dossier that underscores Pakistan’s longstanding support for terrorism and New Delhi’s updated approach to addressing cross-border terror following Operation Sindoor.

On Tuesday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri provided updates to three of the seven delegations regarding key discussion topics and global outreach strategies. This encompassed the faction headed by Shinde.

“We will give a clear message that India is a peace-loving nation but if someone attacks us, we will give a reply. India is focused on economic development. Pakistan is busy with developing terrorism,” Shinde told reporters after the breifing by Foreign Secretary.

The delegations will engage with parliamentarians, ministers, government representatives, and think tanks in 33 nations to emphasize how India has established a new standard in Operation Sindoor to decisively address cross-border terrorism. The delegation will also connect with parliamentarians, think tanks, and the Indian community. The conversation will primarily center on Pahalgam and the previous assaults. The delegations will discuss the significant terrorist assaults backed by Pakistan, addressing how Islamabad failed to respond despite New Delhi presenting compelling evidence including photos, DNA samples, and call logs following the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

The leaders are anticipated to highlight that all significant international terrorist attacks, such as the 9/11 World Trade Center incidents and the 2005 London bombing, had connections to Pakistan, either directly or indirectly.
