Veteran actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar passed away at the age of 87 on Friday. The whole industry is mourning the loss of an icon and a luminary. To honor the star and his legacy, a prayer gathering was held in Mumbai on Sunday. A number of Bollywood celebrities were present, such as Aamir Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Farhan Akhtar, to name a few.

In clips posted by paparazzi accounts on Instagram, multiple celebrities were observed arriving for the prayer gathering. Actor Aamir Khan was spotted exiting his vehicle to meet the family of the deceased star. He donned a gray kurta and a set of worn jeans for the event.

Jaya Bachchan reached the prayer gathering dressed in a white churidaar outfit. She welcomed the family and relatives with her hands together and entered through the doorway. She was spotted at the event without Amitabh Bachchan. Despite Amitabh Bachchan attending the star’s funeral on Saturday, he also encountered writer Salim Khan there.

Amitabh approached Salim Khan, who smiled brightly at seeing his longtime partner. They clasped hands as Amitabh grasped Salim’s hand and began to walk. Salim reached out to him, and they engaged in a short chat before embracing. Amitabh’s son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, also welcomed Salim with an embrace.

In addition, other celebrities present at the prayer gathering included Rakesh Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Krishika Lulla, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Esha Deol, and singer Sonu Nigam.
